Polaroids by Paiz is a unique photo booth experience. Part boardwalk caricature artist, part dive-bar photo booth. The blend is a result that's joyful and sincere.

I am a photographer and creative with ten plus years of experience. My passion for equitable access to photography is a small piece of what motivated me to start this project. I believe we all deserve to be documented and to be seen in that way. 

I have always had a love for the tangible, physical things. Like records, CDs, VHS tapes and of course, Polaroids. In an era where everything is connected to the cloud and attention spans are short physical media has never been more important.

Real film, always

Every guest walks away holding a physical photograph. No QR codes, no galleries, no waiting. The print is the point.

Access over exclusivity

Photography has been gatekept for too long. The booth is built on the belief that everybody deserves a good picture of themselves.

Handcrafted Art

Every set created for the booth is crafted by hand at my studio. Most sets involve collaboration.

    A hand-built instant-film rig designed to fit into tight bars, market stalls, and living rooms.

  • Hit the market circuit

    Flea markets, night markets, and street fairs across Portland

  • Traveling the PNW

    Now booking weddings, activations, and pop-ups from Seattle down to Bend.
